 Mediator Ethics: Conflicts of Interest Defined 

Dispute Resolution Center staff Tad David, Chief of Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Kimberly Kosch, Senior Court Operations Consultant, provide a one-hour presentation on court rules and ethical opinions rendered by the Mediator Ethics Advisory Committee (MEAC) to define conflicts of interests in mediation.  Conflicts dealing with subject matter, former services as an advocate, current and former business and personal relationships will be discussed as well as scenarios which present a clear conflict of interest.  The Rules for Certified and Court-Appointed Mediators and MEAC opinions will be discussed.  This program is eligible for 1.0 hour of mediator ethics CME.
